BAM Whipple Cobra Can’t Quite Keep Up With Nitrous V8 Datsun Z

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say this Mustang driver just had himself a bad start.

Then again, maybe I’m just giving the BAM Whipple Cobra Mustang the benefit of the doubt. After all, it doesn’t sound like the car even had enough power to run against the BAM Nitrous V8 Datsun Z in this heads-up match featured in video below.

The Bay Area Racing clip doesn’t provide any details on the specs for the two cars doing battle on a deserted stretch of road. But just listen to that Datsun rev up to the line and tell me what you think — even match up or not?
