Carlisle Ford Nationals Gets Even More Action-packed in 2018

Carlisle Ford Nationals is set to break records this year with 3,000 Ford vehicles and special guest Dave Kindig from Bitchin’ Rides.
Every summer, the Carlisle Ford Nationals, the world’s largest all-Ford event, serves as the epicenter of — what else? — all things Ford. And we wouldn’t have it any other way. Presented by Meguiar’s, the gathering gives enthusiasts a unique opportunity to view rare and one-of-a-kind rides on display. It’s all happening June 1-3 at the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Pennsylvania.
It’s hard to spotlight just one star attraction, because the entire weekend is basically an all-star event featuring a “who’s who” of cars and auto industry star power. There will a plethora of displays where you can expect to see more than 3,000 Ford vehicles, including a unique Ford Tractor showcase. This is only a portion of the special vehicles guests will see, however.
Ford recently told Carlisle Events that they intend to bring the all-new California Special Mustang, Ranger, Bullitt Mustang, Ford GT and Edge ST to the party as well.
Star Power at Carlisle Ford Nationals
For the first time ever, Dave Kindig (pictured above) of Kindig-It Designs and star of Bitchin’ Rides comes to Carlisle, and he is sure to bring in a large crowd. Steve Saleen returns with his biggest roster ever of Saleen Mustangs, and groups from Ford, Roush, and Shelby will have a commanding grip on the always-growing midway.
This year, guests can now test-drive the latest products for free at the neighboring Carlisle Expo Center. They can participate in on-site competitions, too.
Awards Parade

The three-day event culminates with a Saturday night downtown Ford parade in Downtown Carlisle, and a Sunday on-site awards parade at the Carlisle Fairgrounds.
The season schedule includes five automotive swap meets of varying size and five auctions. It’ll also include individual specialty shows featuring: Chevy Corvettes; vehicles from Ford, GM, and Chrysler; trucks, imports, tuners, and performance sport compacts.
Adult admission is $15 for Friday and Saturday, and $7 on Sunday. You can also purchase a three-day pass for $30. The Thursday “Load-in Day” is $15. Children 12 and under attend free.
Event hours: Thursday-Saturday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Get more details here.
