Don’t Be “That Guy”: Here’s How Not to Drive a Mustang

Don't Be

When it’s all said and done, you just don’t want to be “that guy.”

Let’s put something out on the table. Mustangs are great cars that are designed to be pushed hard. If you own a pony car, you enjoy the spirit of the drive, and likely want to share that excitement with those around you.

Next order of business: places to drive your Mustang. Well, there is obviously the track to do some turning, the drag strip to do some not turning, and, when done in moderation, a nice canyon road to explore. All of these are great places to have a little fun and heat up the tires, without any major risk to others.

But what if you have no regard for the law, no regard for your own safety — or the safety of others, for that matter? If that is the case and you fit that mold, then boy do we have the perfect video for you.

Watch it below, and then watch it again. Use this as the literal how-to guide for becoming “that guy.” Pulling drifts far outside the lane, avoiding oncoming traffic by ridiculously tight margins, and using stop signs as light suggestions — seriously, this guy is unbelievable.

We live in an age now when street-racing content is all-too regular, which can provoke all kinds of bad behavior. This little showcase, however, takes the cake as one of the more choice demonstrations of recklessness we’ve seen. Everyone is lucky that this didn’t end much, much worse. As is, it’s just another video that serves to give Mustang drivers a bad reputation.

Repeat after me, class: DON’T BE THAT GUY.
