What Is With All the Mustang Meme Hate?

Well this is a little unfortunate. I am sure that many of you have noticed the insane flood of hate that is coming at the Mustang on social media platforms right now. It seems like we have a new Mustang crash video every week, after some jerk out-drives his abilities at a car meet. And now with the insane selfie-filled car chase that just happened, it seems that the collective internet has had all it can of our favorite muscle car. As such, the meme-gates have opened. This is so prevalent that even the goons at Jalopnik took notice and made a whole post about all the best memes they could find.
Here’s a very small sampling:
What do you guys think about all this madness? Is it fair? Do you wish it would stop? Do you enjoy seeing it all and think it’s funny?
And why are there so many of these incidents happening anyways? Are there too many idiots out there with Mustangs giving us a bad name? Or do you think this is an actual issue? Perhaps Ford should give out free driving lessons with each purchase. At least we don’t have it as bad as the Camaro though. The only reason you don’t see more videos of them crashing at car meets is because they break down before they can get there.
