Who Bought Their Mustang New and Still Has it Today?
Here is a simple question that usually doesn’t have a very simple answer. Did you by your Mustang new, and do you still have it? It seems like a straight-forward inquiry, but the way we buy cars says a lot about ourselves and our values. Statistically, most people who buy cars new don’t keep them for very long before trading them for newer and supposedly better models. People who pick up cars used are more likely to hold on to them for longer periods of time, but those new buyers just keep rotating their stock.
So I thought it was really cool when member jt14894 posted up in the forums a question about who bought new and still has their car. The thread was posted in the S197 section, so some of these cars are still pretty new, but still, there have been more than 100 posts. I love seeing that the old Mustang is good enough that it keeps buyers hooked.
