Perfect Attendance Earns One Employee a 2015 Mustang

Remember that day you wanted to drive with your friends up that really nice mountain road? The one you called in sick for? Yeah, that one. What if I told you that one day off could have cost you a brand new Ford Mustang? Well if you work for Owens & Minor, this may be a true story.

Every year the company does a huge giveaway for employees with perfect attendance. This year’s prize was a brand new 2015 Ford Mustang. In Ruby Red no less.

This year’s contest turned out to be quite a nail biter. According to the local CBS affiliate in Minnesota, every one of the 13 employees at the local O&M distribution center was eligible to win. In the end it was one Mike Trombley who took home the keys to his new Stang on Apirl 1^st. Thankfully this wasn’t a prank.

The contest has been a mainstay for the company for more than a decade now. But Owens & Minor is the largest medical supply company in the world, so don’t expect to just sign up and get a new car.

Trust me, I already looked into it.
