Crave vintage styling but love modern performance? Revology offers up a slew of new and improved turnkey Mustang options.

If you’re the type of person who loves the styling of vintage rides yet you desire more modern amenities, Revology Mustang replicas are the perfect solution. For five years now, the company has been churning out a line of classic Mustang GTs and Shelbys that also happen to be officially licensed Ford products. But for 2019, the company is kicking things up a notch in more ways than one.

The biggest improvement, of course, come under the hood. Revology is now installing Ford’s excellent third-gen Coyote V8 in their rides. Which, of course, bumps output from 435 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque to 460 hp and 420 lb-ft. Like the 2018+ Mustang, this improvement also increases the redline to a lofty 7,500 rpm and adds dual injection technology.

There’s just one tiny caveat. Revology offers customers the Gen 3 Coyote only with a manual transmission. Those who like to let the car do the shifting must settle for the carryover Gen 2. And it’s the old 6-speed automatic, not the newfangled 10-speed. But hey, who doesn’t want to row their own gears, anyway?

To improve refinement and reduce noise, vibration, and harshness, Revology is also ditching the venerable 9-inch rear end in favor of an 8.8. Naturally aspirated Mustang recreations get 31-spline axles, while supercharged cars step up to 33-spline. Both pack Eaton Truetrac limited slip differentials.

And that isn’t all, either. The pedals have been revised to for easier heel and toe shifting. Front suspension geometry is new too, leading to an improved on-center feel with increased travel. These changes aim to improve ride quality while also shoring up handling.

Revology offers all of these improvements across a wide range of 1966 to 1968 Mustang GT/Shelby body styles. So if you prefer your vintage styling with modern turnkey performance, it’s hard to go wrong with these upgrades.
