Apparently, more drivers in Belgium own a new Ford Mustang than in any other nation in Europe.

Hope you haven’t gotten too attached to the face of the sixth-gen Mustang, because it appears that Ford is already revving up to modify it a bit.

How efficient is the Mustang’s 5.0L V8? Well apparently, efficient enough for Ford to enter a convertible model of the car into the MPG Marathon.

Ford has sold 2,317 units of their pony car in the U.K. since January, which is more than any other 250-plus horsepower car.

News of one new higher-performance Mustang variant in the works is enough to break out the bubbly. But news of two new models revving up is the kind of stuff that could call for a Vegas trip.

Yup, you read that right. That’s 800-HP, a leap of 132 hp over the 2013 Shelby GT500.
