Well, that classic American beauty recently pulled in $280,000 at an auction in Centre Hall, PA, according to a Central PA news report, which really shouldn’t come as surprise considering how rare of a find it is as ’69 Shelby with only 8,500 miles.

The woman, driving a Shelby GT500, apparently lost control of the Mustang when trying to change lanes and spun hitting a metal boundary, according to the San Angelo Live report. Luckily, the woman managed to escape out the driver’s side window uninjured before the car went up in flames.
