VIDEO: Mustang GT Blows Tire on Dyno

If you think doing a dyno run in your Mustang isn’t dangerous, you’re in for one rude awakening here.

The two minute-plus video below shows the fallout of what could have potentially become an all-out disaster, especially if the person filming would have been just a little closer to this Mustang GT.

Posted by 1320video, the clip shows the Mustang’s rear tire blowing out at as its wheels are turning a buck-and-a-half, sending pieces flying through the air.

Honestly, we’re surprised nobody was seriously hurt — although the Mustang was significantly damaged in the process. Even more disheartening for the Mustang owner is that he’d just bought the car a month before the tire exploded.

The Mustang owner, however, was able to make light of the situation, telling the film crew he was “taking donations.”
