SMOKE
2017 ecoboost 2.3 70k on the miles. Was on a scenic ride the other day. Speeds 15-30 mph. After about 20 miles, off the scenic route and on to surface streets. Took off from stop sign and a whole bunch of smoke out the exhaust. Lasted a bit then cleared up. Back at hotel, checked oil and was down a quart. Next day headed home at highway speeds. Got home and checked oil and was down 1/2 quart. Also the catch can had a substantial amount of oil in it.
Today, I idled about 20 minutes, took off and the same blue smoke out the exhaust. Drove for a bit and it cleared up. I'm trying to figure out the problem. I'm thinking it might be the turbo leaking past the seals while idling or low speed driving.
Just looking for ideas. This is my first turbo car, so looking for possible solutions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
