"Had this happened to me, I fear what innocent bystanders maye been slaughtered via my random rage!" LOL
Sure, It is about an inch wide and in a role like regular tape. It is red in color. After looking at it again last night it is the exact same thing that came with my louvers except it is in uncut form. I wanted to try to do the work tonight but I think I will do it in the morning before I have driven anyplace so that I will not have a bunch of heat comming up in my face.
Oh, the tape was only a few bucks. I also thought about spraying undercoating spray in between the roof and the pad. That stuff is like tar and in theory should work. I will try the tape first as it will be less messy.
Good luck bro. Let us know if what you try works. >>>>Updated picks comming by next week!

Easy way to hold up hood pad. Remove retaing buttons frome one side of cover under hood (wiggle out with needle nose pliers). You can now get between hood & pad. Pick up a can of 3M super 77 spray adhesive from home depot. Spray underside of hood & top hood cover let dry for 10 or so mins, press retaining buttons back into place to align cover then press cover tight against hood. My cover hasn't moved. been up for a month. No damage to plenum cover. I read about the damage to cover on this post & glued it up when I installed the plenum cover. I you don't do this do something or it will be ruined because it will rub. Good luck

One answer, plastic. Nobiggy because that's what you're covering up anyway. I just ordered one of them myself. I think when Ford catches on how quickly these things are going out the door I wouldn't be surprised if they jack the price up.
