I am thinking something is going to change. Either the Ebay prices will drop once folks realize how cheap you can get them elsewere or ford is going to jack-up the price once the realize (if they have not already) that the demand is high. It just simple economics. In the mean time, forums like this one can get the word out to benefit folks like us.

Got the cover in Saturday for an '07 GT I'd ordered on 7/10... After 4-weeks, the dealer couldn'd advise any status (no VIN, no build date, nothing) so I bought an '06 off a lot in KC and drove it home. The cover was waiting on the doorstep when I got home with the new ride. I went to install it and, Doooo! now I need the bolt kit! Ken from FordParts.com says the bolt kits are backordered too... apparently their MRP system hasn't had time to react to the demand yet... or their supplier doesn't have any extra capacity to ramp up production. Waiting again at any rate.
