I want to buy these rims from this guy on ebay, but he won't respond to my e-mails and his number doesn't seem to work either. His website looks rather legit however.

Those two reasons to me are good enough reasons to stay away from him. Although his feedback seems to be good.

Stay away from anyone that is not responding to emails in a timely fashion (like with in 24 hrs). They know they have to check there email daily and respond to potential customers. It is good business practice and if they are not beware and don't do business with them as it could be a scam involving someone else ID and good feedback and they don't even know it was stolen from them. Happens all the time on Ebay and you have to be a patient, informed, and cautious buyer on most things in life esp on Ebay!

Not answering emails or phone calls when you are selling something just does not make sense...
