Hey guys, i just installed the Viper 791 remote start, and was wonderin if anyone else out there has tried it? Just wanted to see if anyone has had any problems with it down the road. Also i was wondering if anyone else installed it themselves, or if they took it to a shop to do it. It was a pretty penny, but so far its working fine for me and i love it, but i can never be too careful when it comes to my Mustang.....

 

No one has any opinions? i went down to ocean city, md last weekend, and had a great time, everyone stoppin to look at my car, and actually the alarm went off a couple times when people got to close, its turned out to be a great deterrent, but i felt bad for the people who were jus admiring and got a scare a little bit, so of course i had to go over and talk and make everything right......

 

It would be cool, but I don't think I could put one in a manual.......I keep in gear when parked. On manuals, you have to hold the clutch all the way down before the car will start.

Did you install it yourself?

 

yea i installed it myself, took about 5 hours, but i took alot of breaks in between because it was hot as hades out that day......

 

i installed my clifford avantguard 5.1 w/ remote start. $500... 5 piezo's, battery back up main siren, blackjax anti car jacking. took me the weekend because everythign is hidden entirely.
