I want to do stripes on my car, my only concern are a couple of paint chips on the hood. Will one of those paint chips pretty much guarantee air bubbles if I don't get the hood repainted? They're not that big, but the paint did come off on like two of them. You can see the two grey dots on the hood.

Yeah, you'll see the chips through the vinyl more than likely.Go to autozone
and pick up some touch up paint and fill the chips,then if you know how wet sand them
level.No problems after that.

Yeah, I think that's what I'm going to do. I guess as long as I can run my fingers through the area where the paint chips are and not notice it than I should be ok. I also have this little bottle (can't remember the name of the thing though) that you can use when filling up paint chips, to dissolve the extra paint so it's smooth. Used it on my previous car with no problems.
