ok im thinkin about getting the cali dream ramair hood. it looks pretty good and its funcitonal. anybody know of howmuch extra performance you get?

 

I like to believe I get a little something more then a fully closed off hood.

 

Not much and only at highway speeds. Mine is a ram air hood. When I bought it they didn't have the box attatchment, so, it just cools the air for my Steeda CAI. Any of the ram air/shaker systems provide some benefits at higher speeds, but not really all that much. You certainly want to get get cold air induction.
