20 all the way around, Mustang3GT07do you have any pics of the front sun strip. I was told that if you put the strip on the winshield the tint looked like *** due to the sunshade with the pony on it that comes from the factory. They said it shows up white around all those little dots, and I would need to sand the sunshade off for it not to do that......

 

i got 10% sides and back, my interior is light tan so the reflection from the light coming in the front makes it look not so dark. no hassles from the cops so far. only the rookies will bug you about the tint. in my town they all train in a certain area and i avoid that area like the plague. but if u really wanted 35% and they put 20% youshould bring it back

Yep, Im taking the car back in Friday morning to have them change it out to 35%.
I dont see how you can drive with 5% on all your windows, hell 20% on the sides and 5% on the rear makes the car a little to dark IMO. forget night driving, you can barely see out the rear window. On a sunny day its fine but cloudy or rainy its dark, I got used to the 20% now, but man! 5%, wow!!!!!

 

you get used to it, and your judgement gets a hell of a lot better. my old truck was 5% all the way around, but when i got my new truck i lightened up a little bit on the front windows so i can see at night better. the 5% was fine in the city, but out in the country its just too damn hard. on my new truck i have 15% over my rear and rear side windows which came with smoked glass, which is roughly 18%...i was told the 15% over stock is roughly 3%. my brow is 5%, and my sides are 15%. from the outside with the roughly 3% in the rear, and the brow, my fronts appear to match the rest of the truck due to all the shade on the inside. at night though, it is a lot easier and im happy with my decision

I always wondered why people aren't getting pulled over for the 5% but in reality, a lot probably are. The kid down the street from me has 5% on his acura so I figured he just doesn't get hassled. A few weeks ago, I saw it again and had no tint on the front windows ... I guess he busted for it.

Last night I saw them tinted again ... lol, whatever he wants I guess.
