Default SHELBY HOOD PIN KITS

Anyone install the hood pin kits from Shelby Auto. They say they come with installation instructions and all hardware.
My question is does it come with a template for where to drill into the hood, I want to install them on my hood but want to do it right.
Can you post your pics also with hood opened and closed so I can get an idea of how the orientation is for the pins from front of hood (grill) to the fender sides.
Thanks guys
Rich

They don't come with a template, and you don't need one. They mount to the radiator bracket, so there's no choice of where they go through the hood. There's only one spot on each side they can go. Put them on, put something on them that will rub off (I use pool cue chalk), then lower the hood gently to make a mark. That's where you drill.

Boozshey,
Great article and now I feel like even I can do it. I can't wait, but I want to get my other exterior stuff and paint work done first. Thanks a million for sharing this!!

I think the Shelby pins will be slightly different than that install. You don't need to do step 2 because they come with brackets that mount under the radiator brackets using those bolts. But you do you have to trim the radiator cover more for the brackets/pins.

Correct... I was just trying to save him 50 bucks by not buying the Shelby pins...
