Cool that your Dealer actually HAS facilities. : ) Do a google search for Mustang Clubs in your state. Also check Mustang Club of America being in a club is a lot of fun.

That price of 1600.00 for stripes sounds about right. I live in Arizona and tape stripes do not last long here. I had mine done about 4 weeks ago and it turned out great. I have a 2007 Mustang GT, torch red with silver stripes. I had the tape ones removed and had 10 inch white stripes painted on. It cost me 1720.00 dollars. The shop took off my hood, complete front assembly and the trunk lid and spoiler and rear bumper. They painted each item seperately and painted them with the stripes rolling over the edges instead of stopping at the edge. Then they applied 4 coats of clear coat so you can not feel any edge or lip to the stripes. And since I live over an hour from the shop, which is in another town, they delivered my car on a trailer. So for that service I feel I definitely got my monies worth. It is 10:30 pm here in Arizona, so I will post some pictures tomorrow.

Thanks,
Casper

$2000+ sounds right at the right paint and body shop to have them painted and cleared with no edges. Mine was $2500 for the stripes but I have a kit and Cervinis is all about prep before painting hence labor costs and I went through a show car and fabrication place. The whole kit painted and installed was $4500. I feel in the painting realm you get what you pay for and just ask the dealer if they clear them to have no edges. You can get the same assurance from any reputable paint and body shop. hope it helps and like the stripe color now (if it is the vinyls) J

You shouldn't feel the edge if they are painted, right? Yeah...I'm thinking the dealership will do it right...if they don't, I know i'll get my money back. That is an assurance I'm not sure I will get anywhere else.

Best offer here is 1800 euro ($2800) for wet sand clear coat no lip on stripes.
