is it possible to buy and oem style hoodscoop from ford or a retailer?

I don't see why not. Just be aware that the cost may not be very reasonable if it is from a dealer.

ford part# 6R3Z 16C630-AA retails for $250.00 and you still have to pay to get it painted.

holy crap, does any retailer offer it for less. I am planning to do a cdc classic front lip so painting will all be done at once.

thats alittle better, but damn that is alot of holes to drill. I mean the spoiler goes on with 4 screws this thing has 4 screws and about 8 push pin things. thanks

You might just want to try to trade out your whole hood for one with the scoop. I bet you could list your color and someone may just trade even. I have seen several people post that they made a mistake buying a car with the OEM scoop thinking they could take it off and add either a shaker or another scoop only to find all those damn holes that either need to be filled our somehow covered up. We had to search high and low for a vapor silver car with the two toned leather, 3.55 and NO scoop. Finding one with the scoop wasn't that hard. You never know, someone may be looking to get rid of their hood with a scoop to get a better looking more unique one. good luck

hey i got a vista blue 3d carbon hood scoop,been on the car 2mo,that i will be selling cheap if thats the color of your car PM me. someone hit me last week and am getting a GTS Ram Air Fiberglass Hood
all you would need is the tape and activator
