RE: I have stripes but........
Interesting.I'm not sure what to think but it looks like possibly the driver was either being oddly creative or covering up some sort of damage back there. If i am not mistaken, there is an aftermarket blackout panel there.I know this, becasue i have the same one and in the pic you can tell because you can see the depth of the upper lip...?It look like the vinyl is wrapped around it,but err,it is a black semi-transparent panel to begin with?http://www.btgmotoring.com/Merchant2...mp;Screen=PROD

Thanks for your thoughts guys, like I said, it came that way, as I bought it. I like it, I see your point(s) about it stopping the flow of the lines but no more than the black out panels do. On a side note, I took my car to a shop that specializes in striping and after market modding of cars (many, many mustangs) the guys there looked at my car and said whoever did the tape job was excellent. They couldn't explain why he did the back the way he did but they said he did an amazing job on it....for whatever reason. Again, I know its different, I just wanted to share with you guys, I would be just as happy if it were not done this way, but I am not complaining either!
Oh, there is no blackout panel covered up nor is there any damage that is covered up (unless it was just slight scratches) it simply is a very uniquely taped, white rear end. Thanks again for your thoughts. Jeff
