Sound deadener used?

Sound deadener used?
My V6 Mustang is great to drive and am having fun upgrading
the common parts, exhaust, shifter, swaybars, wheels/tires,
but I've noticed alot of highway noise from the rear seat areas.
I know the stock tire tread pattern is noisy but this seems to be
body related. Not so much squeeks/rattles but the "tin can drone"
or "cheap car road noise. Has anyone used dynomat or lizard skin
and has that quieted it down some. If no one has, I think I'll try
lizard skin, pricy but I know it works on other applications I've done./

There are some guys on this forum who have used Dynamat. They say it makes listening to the radio sooooo much better. I've considered using it in my Truck.
What's the price difference in the two?

RE: Sound deadener used?
I have heard good reviews from people using edead products from http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=55
but I have not bought any myself. I too am wanting to deaden some of that Flowmaster drone while on the interstate. Its not too loud just a little annoying.

Thanks to all!
Good to "hear" it's not just my car. I've heard so much about
Lizard Skin spray on deadner, and have used truck sprayon
bedliner on a kit Cobra I built with good results, but the Dynamat
seems like how I will approach it. Thanks,
Bob

A cheaper, Higher quality and overall better choice for sound deadner can be found at http://www.secondskinaudio.com/. I used damplifier and overkill pro in my car. 2 layers on the door, and the entire trunk and rear deck. If I did it again focus on the rear seat, and all the rear quarterpanels. I would use damplifier pro there as well as maybe some luxury liner or overkill. Start with those areas though, the trunk is not going to be influential unless you have lots of boom boom.

Thanks Irgnation for the $$ saving tip. Always interested
in a good bargain. Looks like a good price on what is the
same design as dynamat. Should have seen this by now
looking at as many auto mags as I do.
