Default map light bulbs-colored-LED-Part number?

Hello,

Was wondering if someone could tell me the model of the map light bulbs for a 2007 ford mustang GT. I would like to chang them to LED, blue color. Wasn't sure what the correct part number was for them? Pep boys, auto zone couldnot find them in their computer. said car was too new.?

Thanks,

Steve

It's not likely you will find a part number or the part number will mean much. The important thing is to watch the physical deminsions of the bulb.

You will want a 194 base for the maplight. I am looking at the 11 SMT blue LED from V-Leds: http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...id/0/SFV/32481

These are a little pricey but they might be what you are looking for. LED Dome Light Bulbs

The referenced dome light does point all the light in the correct direction (down) and is designed for the S197 maplight housing, but yea, that is a bit pricey!
