The GT500 front end is by far the best looking front end on this car. It also works. The designers that Ford has, spend a lot of $$ and time coming up with these designs, and they look as good as they do for a reason. We're talking about some the best automotive designers in the world. The aftermarket guys do a pretty good job, but they're not even close to the talent that Ford can afford to hire. I think it was said that the new S197 Mustang was the closest car in production to resemble the concept car. I kept all the early conceptual articles on the new Mustnag before it came out, and it's pretty interesting looking back. They actually made the GT a little "ugly" so they could save the real "lines" of what they had envisioned for the "more expensive" model. There's nothing wrong with upgrading the GT. It's what we do as enthusiasts. It's called personalization. Each of us has a vision of what we want our cars to look like,and represent us as an image, weather it's a Cervini, Roush, Saleen, or Shelby. It's al about being just a little different, but still belonging to a brotherhood of performance. You guys have done some real nice jobs with your conversions and should all be proiud. I'm just waiting for the right time to do mine. Reading these "conversion" threads really helps with the motivation. Thanks!!
