sound easy but im mechanically and DIY retarded! im gunna have someone do it for me while i sit there and watch over thier shoulder in fear!
ORIGINAL: Fred Malibu

the rockers are soo easy to install!

I did not even pull the clips out on the bottom.

just take out the 2 pins in the front fender (lift the middle of them with a flathead screwdriver)

Then you can use the rocker itself to pull down the christmas tree clips as low as they'll go. mine didn't come out and I didnt have any good tools to remove them, so I just slipped my stock rockers out of them and slipped the new ones on. then I pushed the clips back in and put the 2 pins back from inside the fender.

there is a writeup on how to do this that is easy to follow.

good luck.

The lines don't match perfectly, but one of my next mods is the 3D Carbon chin spoiler. Then, the front will line up with the sideskirts. I like the rear the way it is.

Pantera72 and Project 85 have the 3DC chin spoiler.. and that one looks the best to me. (and they're both white cars too!)

Thanks for the compliments too-- I really appreciate that.

your car looks fantastic! your look was my original idea before i did the black and white theme! everytime i look at ur car it reminds me of a 69 shelby gt350 in white with the blue stripes! you are driving americas pastime! a collictible! car looks great! keep it up!

i was wondering.....how much of a difference did the gt rockers make on your black stang? i know its more dramatic for other colors but wondering about black. i was thinking of getting a pair but was trying to figure out how much of a diff the painted will make compared to the stock rockers. thanks dude.

I'm worried about buying them off newtakeoff since I have a candy red stang. I'm afraid they'll give me redfire...or something dinged up...
