newtakeoff shouldn't be the name, newtearoff is more appropriate LOL.
lol.. that ones funny

I put the front up on ramps, that gave me plenty of room. Didn't take the black ones on the bottom off, just used a screw driver to gently pry and pop them out one side a time. I was able to salvage most of the white clips from the top, the take offs came with 3 on one and 2 on the other.
great way to decribe it.. thats what I did too.

this should help lots of people.

Well my rockers came in today, so did my pony emblems. So I rip open the box, and they are all wrapped in white protective film. I tear that off and... newtakeoff shouldn't be the name, newtearoff is more appropriate LOL.
Hmm, i hope you and ODDYSSEY werent referring to the same "newtakeoff" site, cuz your views seem to contrast heavily.

Doh! Yeah, I likes it. Been debating whether to put the rear window louvers back on or not. I like the look of the car with them off. I only bought them to shade the rear passengers. Made a trip up to the tail of the dragon last year, and the seven year old got cooked in the back seat. I never noticed that the rear glass comes way up over the heads for the guys in the back. On the way back the sun just seemed to constantly beat down on him, so I got the louvers and they worked perfectly for that. But I got tint now. And it really cuts down on the heat you feel from the sun. Having them off really cut down on wash time too. It takes a bit of time to unlock, lift, wash, go around do it again and clean every louver in the process. Drying is no fun either. With them off, shoot... it was a snap.

Looks great! Makes the car look more "full".Are you thinking of a chin spoiler to even it out?

Not really, I haven't seen any V6 chin spoiler I like. I like the way it looks, the only thing I don't like about the front is the plate recess. Why on earth did they do that? They didn't have to. It was a conspiracy! Probably assigned the design of the front to a GT guy... LOL

I got mine from Diversified Marketing (newtakeoff.com) over a month ago and finally took them out of the package and installed them yesterday. They were in perfect condition. I put them on at the same time as my wheels and they made a huge difference. It looks like a brand new car. It was a pretty easy install, even though I broke about half of the black christmas tree connectors getting them out.
