Not really. If you chip your windshield depending on the severity you will probably have to replace it to get rid of the problem. A chip in the paint can usually be fixed with touchup paint.

 

Windshield chips can also be repaired.

 

Not even thinking bout doing it....In Los Angeles you will get pulled over very fast..... my friend tinted his front windshield on his m3 but he has consul plates so he can do anything he wants

I got 5 all around and 35 on the windshield. I'm outta town right now, but I'll post pix when I get home

 

I think it looks good but I'm not sure if its worth the hassle. Depends on where you live though and what the cops are like there. Where I live I can drive with 5% tint, music blasting, and pure black smoke comming from my exhaust and not have to worry about cops hasseling me
