Thanks for the helpful posts and as I said Goo Gone did Not work on the stripes I removed. The 3M Teped on fake gas cap glue came off very easy with Goo Gone it was after I removed the stripes from the area around the fake gas cap that I had the trouble with Thanks xyster I'll look into some rapid tac products.
