A little tip to bend it...
Use a vise and keep the jaws open enough so the extremities of the emblem rest on each edge of the jaws.
Put a rag under the emblem so it doesn't contact the metal and mark the finish.
Use a big socket sideways to lay on the emblem and gently tap with a hammer to give it a slight curve. You don't need much.
I used 3M tape after cutting the prongs off the backside.
