This may sound like a stupid question, but can you just take your car to the local window tinting place to get your lights tinted, or should I covers or what, and does anyone know if that is illegal in kentucky and would I need extra bright lights?

 

I've seen some Youtube videos of guys tinting lights, with the heat gun, slicks, and tint. Looks exactly the same as how they do cars.
