My pleasure, guys. If you look at the first set of pics of my car, you'll find all kinds of subtle things I've done. For example:

Painting the calipers black so they fade into the Shelby rims;

Painting the front pony flat black;

Removing the grill and painting everything behind it flat black, i.e. radiator, condenser, tubing, etc.

And now the rear emblem. I'm trying to make subtle changes that aren't immediately noticed, but you somehow know something is different.

Next up are the Agen 47 mirrors, which should be here Tuesday...

how did you do the radiator and condensor, just spray them? ive been looking for painted ones actually, as it is something minor but makes for good things.

Remove the grill and just spray them with radiator paint.

Here's a "before" shot. Bet you never noticed how ugly it is behind there in the sunlight:

Here's the "after" shot:

Great look.
What do you do if it does not leave the adhesive intact
when you pry up the emblem with a screwdriver?
And are there any clips that hold it on from the inside
like some suggest?

Just remove the grill, tape off the area and spray it black.
Its a major mod an a non-black stang.

fullboogie, i also believe in small unique changes to have a great impact on a cars appearance. I really like the look of the s197 mustang concept car. It has very clean lines and looks very classy.

wait............does the rear emblem only stay on with glue??? Meaning that there are no holes in the rear trunk lid if you were to remove it????????? If this is the case mine is coming off right now.
