sweet job on the rear, i def want to go to autozone and grab some of that krylon paint. let us know how it is after a couple washes and what not.

also, does anyone know the website that sells custom faux gas caps? i think it was southern something something.. haha...memory fails me.

Not sure on the Krylon stuff yet. I had a minor chip(flake) that I just touched up. I had 1000 grit sand paper in my hand and didn't buy because it said it will bond to "anything" plastic included.

I'll have to see how it cures in the next week or so and if it flakes or chips again. If so then I guess my advice is no matter what the can says scuff it up first. Novice error Would have only added like 20 minutes to the process.

I like the look of it though, so even if I have to redo it (to make it adhere better) it's such a cheap, quick and easy mod!

Florida rocks but I lived in upstate NY growing up and the seasons are nice. I miss the snow and fall sometimes.

Then we have a cold snap like this week....it droped all the way to like 30 degrees at night and never got above 62 during the day. This happened for three days in a row! It's at times like these that I'm glad I live in FL. Someday I'd like to have a house up North and in Tampa also!


P.S. My mirror covers were supposed to be here late last week so when they show (soon I hope) I'll post up some pic's of those to.
