make sure to use a good mix of liquid soap (dawn etc) and water so it makes it easier to move around until your ready to apply them. trust me ive done alot of stripes and decals and it saves you alot of time!!

im an installer and ive removed alot of racing stripes and reinstalled.even did a couple that Roush warrantied .the removal process is different on all vehicles ,it depends on color of the vehicle, color of the stripes, wether their mettallic or not.how long ur vehicle sits in the sun ,what state ur from...ive had some stripes just jump off the car with heat applied,,,but on the other end ive had to remove some with an eraser air tool cuz they lost all their elasticity and would only come up in tiny pieces..yea that job sucked...im thinkin enuff heat and patience urs will come up easy enough.....yea googone works if u got like hours to remove it...but 3m adhesive remover kicks *** and u can get it at any paint supply place...like sherwin williams automotive if u have one in town..trust me ,,its awesome ....after uve removed all the glue u have to wash car really good with alot of soap .it seems like a step u wud skip over but ull run into all kinds of adhesive snot clumps left in the gaps of panels.
now installing stripes ..whoo! ...some can do it ,some cant...ive done it for 17 yrs..and its still something that takes alot of thought ,,especially the bumpers ..the wider u go the more difficult..ive wrapped 15" down the bumpers ..ugh...
if ur interested ill give u a step by step install ..let me know...
and u guys are curious bout striping prices...here goes:
install 10"-12: racing stripes with my cast vinyl: $500.00..
removal of stripes: $200.00
install with ur cheap stuff bought from ebay thats sat on the shelf and had a couple birthdays there:$350.00..
its not the material that costs so much , its the time for install ..

if ur gonna do it..uve only invested 50 bucks in the stripes..**** itll be a learning experience..u never know u might just kickass at it.!...let me know if u need help... here are a few cars ive done..

well i underwent this project yesterday...this is my first time dealing with stripe installation so it took me from 1230pm to 530pm to finish...i screwed up the front bumper pieces really bad because of the angles so i just ripped them off and i also failed to notice that my ebay roush stripe kit did not include the rear badge stripes :-( so im going to have to get them cut and installed at a sign shop...
