My personal opinion on chrome is this, it looks spectacular on just about any car if you can completely deck the car out with chrome. If your only going to have a few other chrome pieces then it probably will look out of place. If your going to do lots of chrome things to your car, it could blend in very well and look great.
If you had like chrome rims, chrome parking lights, chrome antenna, chrome rear badge, etc., i think it could blend in very well. But chrome definitely belongs with more chrome and not just one thing by itself.
