California Car Duster for sure...the trick is as follows. Let's say you wash your car every Sunday. Go ahead and use the duster every morning and every evening on your car and make sure you shake out the duster after each panel has been wiped. And there you go, like magic, if the car doesn't get rained on, it will stay clean for the whole week like if you had just cleaned it.

++++1 on the California duster! Had mine for well over 10 years and it works great. I really think these work better over time as mine had the residue issue early in its life and now that it has been used on several cars, its finally broke in. Since my car is not a DD, I always hit it with the Cali duster before taking her out of the garage.

Doogie what are you doing talking about dusters when you should be spending all your time getting that Edelbrock supercharger in.

I have the California Duster but it gets dirty quick and leaves a greasy residue.

Other cheap imitations of the California Duster don't even come close.... they don't pick up the dust like the California Duster does.
This "greasy residue" you guys speak of is the paraffin wax that is on the duster when new or slightly used. I have a 6 yr old CA duster and its like they said the more you use it the better it works. I use it all the time on black and never worry about streaks or smears or scratching the paint. I do quik detail the car after using the duster very lightly on the car to get areas I missed. I have a separate one for the rims. Here is a trick I think they advertise on the instructions for use of the CA duster.

get a piece of cardboard and lay the duster in a cool and dry place on the cardboard. Leave it over night. Remove the duster from the cardboard and most of this residue will go into the cardboard. It has not affected the wax coating that I can tell as it still lifts the dust off the car with little pressure at all. Over time the streaks will not transfer to the car!
