Vert owners. Corrosion on rear window frame piece?
Can't find this info anywhere, but my new Shelby GT vert has both black trim pieces that need to be fixed. it's that black part along the leading edge of the rear side windows.
The black part has faded in spots, like it got corroded after being washed and left in the sun over the past 14 months that the car sat on the dealer's lot!
Is this part attached to the glass permanently?
I'm trying to find out if the dealer can quickly replace that trim or it he'll have to order a whole new window.
Just to show you what ******* the dealers are, this is a brand new Shelby GT that needs this fixed, as well as several minor and major rattles and creaking noises fixed, stains on the plastic parts of the roof frame and 3 scratches, yet they will only give me a rental for 3 days!
Once again, I really should have taken the strong advice of not taking delivery on a new car until it is perfect!
