Fishing line worked like a charm for mine. Then some good adhesive remover and maybe a plastic scrapper for the remaining glue.

slide the fishing line in between the badge and the car...pull down...have you cut clay? like flossing. and the remaining 3m can be rolled off and cleaned with a bunch of stuff

I used the fishing line also. Just roll the ends around your hands and work it back and forth between the deck plate and the car and "saw" down. I used a light coat of lacquer thinner to get the glue off. Then cleaned it good to get the thinner residue off.

So I take it there are no pins through the lid? For some reason I thought there was.

there are 2 alignment pins on the backside of the GT rear badge, near the center, that go into back of the trunk. you just have to use the fishing line and come in from all 4 sides towards the center, cutting the adhesive enough to pull it loose from the trunk

Thats what I thought. I almost got excited for a minute about being able to take it off and not need to fill holes. I know there are the magnetic black out panels like rettgoings, but i'm just not sure abou them yet. It would be nice to live where I can actually see these things on a car once in a while instead of past bufu where finding a modded stang is like finding a needle in a haystack.
