Default Hood Question

It's simple: Who makes a quality hood?

I'm lookin for something other than ram air, I'm not to partial to how they look. I've tried to stay away from aftermarket fiberglass hoods because I always thought they weren't very strong. I also saw one once that was bending and just didn't look very good. Please post your personal experiences with fiberglass hoods and links to the one that you purchased.

Personally. I want a cowl hood like this one.

Cervini is supposed to make some very good quality hoods.

I have a Cervini hood and it is great, smooth, strong, fits perfect, even smooth underneath.

No personal experience here, but I've heard good things about Cervinis. I would also expect a product from Steeda to be high quality and I'm actually thinking about getting the same hood you put the link for.

I have the Cervini 2 1/2" cowl. Fit and finish is excellent.

Cervini's 2.5" cowl here as well, and I love it. No issues, and I've had it for a month. There are a few people on here that have the Steeda hood, and they should be able to speak to its quality.

Since they are fiberglass and not aluminum, I assume they are a little flimsy.

Since multiple people have the 2.5 inch cowl hood from Cervini's is this particular one strong and solid?

They aren't as strong as metal, but I would not consider them to be flimsy. What do you plan on doing to your hood...?

Also, I believe I saw in another thread that the Steeda hoods are made by Kaenan which I have also read are high quality hoods.

On those fiberdlass Kaenen etc... there is nothing flimsy about them.
They're heavier than our OEM aluminums.
