Default roush louvers

so heres my situation. I installed my roush louvers about two months ago. Was hesitant about them but read through the forums and didnt see people complain about them fying off or anything. Well I went to class and then work today, when i got to work i noticed the drivers sid one was hanging on for dear life lol. It was hanging from just one strip of double sided tape, the others came off but stayed stuck to the louver.. Im not 100% sure it flew off or if some idiot tried to jack them. either way im worried about reinstalling them.......... any suggestions? similar situations?

btw its been over 100 degrees alot here in san antonio. dk if that helps?????

Geeeez 05, sorry to hear... but this seems a little unusual if they were installed properly, in my opinion. Did you clean the paint surfaces well with rubbing alcohol or something similar before applying your tape?? Mine have been on for two years now and goes through high pressure no touch car washes without issue....

Default roush louvers

hey, i had the same problem with my roush louvers. i followed the instructions perfectly, i mean come on, its so simple, the directions spell it out, i cant remember the exact steps now(its been over a year), but i remember having to clean window, then the rubbing alcohol, i remember applying the sticky tape and having to wait to let it cure to the window, applying metal brackets...anyway followed the instructions to the t...well one day as i was accelerating on the on-ramp to the freeway my pasenger side louver flew off, and wouldn't you know the next off ramp was 5 miles down the road, well i circled around and lucky for me the louver had landed on the side of the road and did not get run over, but it had 3 major scratches on it. so i called roush explained my problem and they official responce was "installer error", they told me i was too dumb to install tape. anyway, i what i wound up doung was having my local ford dealership's body shop epoxy the metal brackets to my car(the same epoxy the install automotive glass with), my louvers are still just held to the brackets with the 3 screws that came with them so i can remove for cleaning the window, but they will never fly off my car again....total cost to epoxy was around 175 or so...

well ive been thinking alot lol Im thinking some jackass tried to steal them, cause one came off the screw making the hole that holds them bigger and then came off, the 2 tabs are still on the louvers, but the other is still on the car...either that or the texas heat just got to them, i litererally cleaned the glass for 15 minutes.. and i installed the cervini side scoops the same day and those are on like if they were screwed on!

I've had mine on for almost a year. I do a lot of highway driving and consistently keep it around 80 mph. No problems to this point...knock on wood.
