Fading Rocker Stripe?

There are two ways of doing that stripe. One is using a printer and printing black on a clear vinyl with a gradient. If I print it, then it will be glossy. You need to find someone with a gerber edge machine so that they can use a flat black film. That machine doesn't use inks it uses foils. I suppose you may be able to use a flat translucent film, but I have never tried to print on it. I don't know if it would come out flat or if the ink would make it glossy. Maybe I can snag a sample roll from my supplier.
