So knowing that the front edge of the GT500 hood is slightly different to a GT hood, what does that actually look like? I mean, a GT500 hood on an otherwise unaltered GT front end?
Does it look ok or clearly Poo ? Does it even fit?

To me, it doesn't look right but it's not terrible.
It will hit the top of your bumper pillars, so you'll need to modify a bit to clear everything.
There was a thread not long ago with pics of a member that has it (black car I think).
Hopefully, someone will chime in with pictures for you.

as Pascal said, the underside of the hood will hit the pillars.

I've only seen one or two cars with a GT500 hood and GT front end and it doesn't go well together..
