Default Tires

I have a 2006 GT convertible that has been lowered about 1.5", using the Eibach Pro-Kit Plus suspension. My stang currently is rolling on 18" bullit wheels with 235X50 tires. What tires would be a good replacement to fill out the space? I want to keep my 18" rims and just replace the tires. I don't want to stagger the size. Keeping the front and back tires the same size, I am not sure how much wider I should go, 245 or 255... and I am torn between going 40 or 45 series. Any suggestions and/or pics would be greatly appreciated.

What width are your rear wheels? You could run a 285/40 on a 18X10 rim. This would have about the same (and correct) diameter as the 255/45 fronts.

No stagger then go 255/45. It will look much better than the 235/55 stockers.

not staggering is really killing your choices

I'm running 235/50 up front, 275/40 out back

withing 1/2" of hieght between them. cannot tell by looking either. I will be going to a 255/45 up front when they get a bit more worn

Thanks everyone. I think I will go 255/45s all around on the stock rims.
