Default Can we please get seperate sections for current generation mustangs??

Why does this forum have the 2005-2009 mustangs lumped together with the 2010s and 11s? Besides the technical section that is. I'm looking at getting a 2010 in a couple weeks and it sucks going through all the 05-09 threads when trying to find ideas for the 2010. They are different cars so they should be seperated just like the other generations!

P.S. I like the older mustangs but I just want to see what people are doing with the 10s right now.

I'm not even sure if this thread should be here but I've been frustrated with this for awhile now.

The 2010 is functionally identical to the 2005-2009. The only significant differences besides some of the optional electronics are the upgraded interior and front and rear asthetics. The engines are identical except for the intakes. The '10's tune is reflashed with the lousey FRPP tune that is bettered by most custom tunes that the '05-'09's have previously known about.

It would behoove you to understand that 99% of what works for the 05-09's works for the 10's. Be glad that you have such a large pool of info to fish through. Your '10 is nothing special with respect to an 05-09.

Plus, if you had enough common sense after reading thru the forum, you'd scrap the '10 purchase for an '11.

There is a 2010-2011 section, that's all that matter.
As the 2010 and up get more traffic, we'll shuffle things around accordingly...

EExcuse me?? You do realize not even has to have the 2011 because it has the new 5.0 right? I bought mine knowing the new motor was coming so does that mean i have no common sense?? It's idiotic statements such as that ... that PMTFO

Go back and look at the 2010 again. It's more than the front and rear asthetics. The sides are different and so is the rear quarter window. Very few appearance parts from the '05 - '09 work on the 2010 - 2011. I understand his frustration as well because at times I see a post on something in appearance just to find out its for a '05 to '09 and won't fit on my car..

Update:
We just got a 2010/2011 appearance sub section in the main 2010/2011 section, just for you.

Now, go buy a damn Mustang!
