door trim removal question

door trim removal question

I have a 07 redfire v6 with the trim in the middle of the two doors and i hate it and want to remove it. Is the paint underneth going to be mismatched or anything like that?

Shouldn't be mismatched, some fishing line should take care of it along with the help of a blow dryer. Use some adhesive remover to help get whatever residue is leftover
