Something I just came across http://loover.com/ check it out...apparently it's legal too but I don't know since I don't live in the US.

I would put a pice of glass with that on it over my license plate so that if **** hit the fan just flick it on and tada! no more plates.

Yea, those are the ones I saw also. Only problem is that they are either not available, or ridiculously expensive. The hideaplate.com site doesn't even work, so it's all great in theory, but no one puts it into practice. I'll bet the minute they set one of these up for sale, the government is all over them with law suits. If there was a way to get that film, and know what the voltage and amp requirements are I could build my own.

Yah its expensive technology but not if you wanted it that much $549.00 isn't that much. Theres tons of rich ppls out there you know that would throw 600 bucks out like nothing.
