Default Type 3 or GT500 Chin Spoiler?

Guys, I looking to add a chin spoiler to my front end. I have heard that you can modify a GT500 chin spoiler to fit our GT's and that it is cheaper. My question is, how hard is it to modify and how much cheaper is it? Or, should i just get the Cervini's Type 3 and call it a day?

Thanks for the input.

This is the CDC Classic chin spoiler. No mods needed.

you have to cut off some of the plastic lip on the spoiler so that it fits properly on the GT bumper. also there are some visible holes that most people cap. really not very difficult

this writeup gives you an idea of what's entailed. although how much he tells you to cut i don't agree with. i cut off the tabs.

Damn, I paid $65 for mine in 2007...
Go with the GT500 lip...
Mine gets compliments all of the time.
A few fellow GT owners have seen it on my car at work, and have gone straight to the dealership to order one for themselves...
