JMO... I think it looks clean as hell ! Very useful, one always has a need for switches, hell one could be the trunk release switch... None the less like were your going with it !
That would be awesome! I hate how there is no trunk release on the inside of the car. Just on the key chain remote..
Are there any good wiring kits and tools that I can buy from a store so that I can do something like this?
No kit available, you will have to make your own
Look closely at the pics of my wiring, its really not that bad. You will run into a little hang up when you try to fit all the wires up in the console. Epically me because I ran additional LED"s with 5 switch's.
**Notice how I did my fuses, this will save you a ton of room.
(Wiring connectors for fuse holders X2 L shaped {the blue connectors})
**Notice how I color coded each wire (A MUST)
You can do it man, just start small with one or two, once you get one, you'll be able to add more with ease.
That's a great idea! I've always wondered where to put aux. switches in my car (I have strobes in the front and back). I'd just be a little nervous w/ all the wiring. I'm not educated on fuses and stuff, I only have one that's in the engine compartment, and haven't had any problems yet.
Great write up, I might put in two switches myself.
