Default Factory hood warping

Anyone else here have problems with their factory hood warping? My redfire has begun to develop a hump on the left side. I did have a super stripe with pinstripes custom painted about a year back on this hood. It does not appear to be a paint issue. The hump appears to be forming right above the factory air intake.

I'm trying to decide if it is worth having fixed at the body shop or should I just buy a new custom hood. Any suggestions on hoods? I've heard fiberglass has issues warping as well. It is my understanding the factory hood is aluminum based.

Thanks

Well if you are sure it's warping, I would buy an aftermarket hood. There is a TSB on aluminum hood corrosion. If you don't see it now, you will most likely see it in the near future and if you are out of warranty, it ain't cheap to fix.
