I don't have pictures right now, but it appears there are discoloured spots all over the silver stripes on the roof of my car. I noticed a couple of these marks on the hood, but they're not as prominent...I tried wiping them off to no avail. We've had 100+ degree weather with full force sun for the past couple days here in Texas, is it possible that my stripes have burned?

if there vinyl maybe, but i cleaner wax that should work out good luck

They're probably just water spots. Have you had rain showers, and then the sun come back out while water was sitting on the car? A cleaner wax should help you clear them up.

They are about 7 months old.







Probably not great pics, but they show what the spots well. I tried scrubbing them but they won't come off.

My silver stripes on the 2000 are doing the same thing here in FL. A cleaner wax like MOTHERS will make them look better but the damage is irreversable. I have no idea what caused it so if you find out please let me know as I have silver stripes on 2 cars.

As freaking hot as it is down here it wouldnt surprise me.. I would call whomever you got the stripes from and ask if it is normal.
